Almas Akhtar, a 15 year old who have many roles to fulfill such as the roles of an obedient servant of Allah SWT, an obedient child of her parents, a perfect sister to her younger siblings, a perfect student trying to top to make her parents proud. But is perfection overrated? What cost will she have to pay to achieve that perfection? And is it even possible?
But what happens when her father, an overprotective person, suspects everything and everyone. What happens when her life is filled with restrictions and she's monitored on her every move in the name of protection. She has an only escape from her life filled with unreasonable expectations and watchful eyes, her school that gives a small semblance of independence and a breath of fresh air.
No one asked what her dream is. Her dream... now her only dream became to live an independent life and never ever needing someone to depend upon. Will she fulfill her dream or her life will take some other turn?

*This book is based on true story.* Back in 2023, when I was overcoming my past problems I joined SRM University for BBA course in digital marketing which was an online course and I joined it with a hope to learn more various things such as new languages or skills. But I didn't knew this at that time that it would be the biggest turning point of my life. A 21 year old boy, who entered into my life when I was least expecting and the catch is he's exactly what I created in my imagination with the name Aarav. Confused yet attracted, hate yet love and most importantly he's exactly what forces me to repeat a history which my family hates the most. (not edited) This is the book I never even admired. It was more like a journal for me-just ranting and never meant to be published. I only uploaded it so that my friend could read it, and I never imagined people would actually love it. So, it's nothing like Whispered Vows-that's the book I poured my heart and soul into, dedicating 5-6 months completely. So please, don't judge me by this book 😂!!
