Amira doesn't feel blessed. Dawud doesn't feel blessed. Amira is struggling terribly in school. The endless amounts of pressure from her family and teachers has finally taken its toll on her and she is ready to quit her education. Dawud has a destructive family which little by little is draining the life not only out of him but his little sister Inaya. When she attempts to cut herself, a sinful act, he is unsure of what to do. Both are looking for love, both have faith in Allah. Despite being blessed by many things, neither are able to be fully grateful to their creator. However, there is one crucial problem. Amira is a Bengali and Dawud is Egyptian. When Amira's parents choose culture over religion, it means that marrying Dawud means abandoning them......
