I could see now that the darkness had finally spread into Kai's heart.
"Kai...don't do this." I pleaded.
Kai slams me against the wall and puts his sword to my neck.
"You did this to me Lloyd! You ruined everything! But I could care less about what the others think of me anymore. Because the only thing I want is to take my revenge on all of you. Starting with you Lloyd."

When Kai and Lloyd were training, Lloyd accidentally hits Kai's sword over the monastery wall. Kai jumps over the wall and finds his sword in the bushes but gets bitten by the same snake that turned Garmondon evil.
Kai knowing there isn't an antidote for this snake bite must try to hide this from the others. But how can he hide something that runs through his veins?

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened.
