Elise lives in isolation. Her cottage is located deep into the forest, the only contact she has with humans is when she goes to the village nearest to buy necessities.
One day Alexandra, a dashing young woman, moves into the village in hopes to understand more about the countryside to continue writing her novels.
When winter arrives Alexandra gets lost in the forest while exploring, Elise finds her and takes her in, sparking a beautiful friendship... or who knows, something more.
