That out of all of those universes and galaxies, there is just no way that we are the only form of intelligent life out here. 

And the truth is...

We most definitely aren't.

Whoever finds this journal, the truth is being said. What I have seen is real.

We are not alone out here...."

Earth has been destroyed. Eaten through by extraterrestrial, space-dragon-like beings called the Nebuli. The year is 3455 and 410 year old Ezra Polaris has been asleep for a massive chunk of her life since she was 10. No more aging normally.

Never moving forward.

Floating in a vast black darkness peppered with stars.

Travelling aboard her parent's project ship the Orion, with an allied baby Nebula, Ezra is awake for only a month aboard the spaceship, her birth month, before she has to sleep for another 50 years.

Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. Where money itself is the highest form of their science.

Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues. Then one day Jan knocks on her door, yet this was not her boss she knew. This was a man with deep understanding of space and wormholes and her. He extends his hand for a travel through time and space, assuring nothing but an experience of her deepest wish, galactic travel through the worm holes. But once on the planet between the two Sirius es, Ira realises this Jan was a shape shifter, she does not recognise him or know if he was the same man from her work. She however knows an earthly being like her would never survive there. As Jan reveals himself as the Prime Advisor of the planet, ruthless about everything but the survival of the planet and its people, he chains her literally to his side. In her mind comes the warning he will literally absorb her life and then discard her is a barren space. Desperate she tries to jump into the worm hole only to realise that the twin stars created a mirage worm hole had pushed her further into the abyss of nothingness where not even one star was in sight. Desperate she asks for assistance. Yet when it appears would she be able to accept it.
