All Harper wanted to do was graduate college and live a normal life, but a few bad decisions set her on a path intertwined with a secret government organization and a would-be team of heroes.
Harper Hagino, a young hacker trading information to pay for college, finds herself recruited by a secret security agency known as SHIELD. Clint Barton, an agent with a kind smile and an affinity for arrows, takes Harper under his wing as she learns to navigate this new reality. They find another friend in Natasha Romanoff, a Russian assassin Clint was sent to kill. Life as an agent isn't the easiest, and an assignment leaves Harper facing loss and an out-of-control super-ability. Deciding she can't handle life as an agent, she leaves to once again start a new life. Will the threat of Loki and the tesseract bring Harper back or will the risk of losing more push her even further away?
This story takes place before and during the events of Avengers (2012) but does not follow the events exactly. Any Marvel content published after 2020 may not be included in this story's continuity.
