Prince Noctis of Lucis had been the only person that Ignis Scientia had had to worry for most of his young life.  That was until the Prince had befriended a young commoner girl.  Then Ignis' whole world seemed to change over night as he started to see her as more than just a friend.   And now as he starts to take his place as Noctis' Royal Retainer and Guardman, he is challenged again.  Does he stay and full fill his royal duties, or will his heart start to direct him away from everything that he has trained his whole life for?

After numerous close calls with death and gods, her path is finally starting to become clear to her.  But it's not in the direction that she was thinking that it was going to go.  Will her training be enough to keep her on the right path, or will her heart fail her in the end?

This story is based off of the FFXV Video game and all of the associated DLCs that was produced by Square Enix.  This does contain spoilers from the full game, all associated DLCs, the FFXV Brotherhood Anime series, and the FFXV Kingsglaive Movie that was produced before the game was released.   If you are planning on playing the game and/or watching the anime series and/or movie, I recommend watching them first and completing the game before you read this story.
