He was utterly perfect. He tossed his head then sat back on his hind quarters and reared, the dark crescents of his his hooves flashing against the sky. Mel clutched the metal bar of the partition and gasped. Her heart soared, fluttering in her chest and the world seemed to spin around her, whirling her into dizziness. It seemed that the normal laws of gravity held no bounds for her now because as she gazed at the amazing, spirited creature before her she realised that the thread that tied her to this earth had become this horse..... Mel knows exactly how it is: Her parents will never be able to afford to buy her a horse so she works for Liz at Elm stables. She knows that this involves running around at the beck and call of the very wealthy and spoilt Katy, trying to have fun with her best friends Louise and Liam and doing everything in her power to avoid the dissaproving and serious Daniel. She also knows that she can't get attached to the horses that she rides as they are to be sold. But when Mystro, the beautiful but troubled young horse arrives on the yard it turns all of what Mel thinks she knows straight on its head. And when a terrible accident occurs at Elm Stables, all Mel does know now is she will do whatever she has to do for the love of a horse.......
