Trees blurred by, dead leaves clung to me, branches barely missing my head. I ran as fast as my sore bare feet would carry me. But it wasn't fast enough. I could hear them now. Growls ripped through the woods, closer than before. They were taunting me, soon they would have me again. Why did I run? Why did I have to help? These monsters are going to do more than they have ever done, making me beg for the mercy of death. I could hear them directly behind me now. This is it. The moment they all said I had coming. Death will be no friend of mine, because they will never let me die. GIRL KIDNAPPED FROM COLLEGE! 21 year old Kinleigh Cressida has been missing from her college in Upstate New York for five days. School security and local police are continuing investigations on the mysterious kidnapping. Sources tell us Kinleigh was last seen leaving the library 2 a.m. Saturday morning, finishing a group midterm project. Authorities have not released any information on Miss Cressida. If you have any information about the kidnapping or saw anything, please contact your local authorities or Police and Safety. Kinleigh was a quiet beauty. She maintained average grades, participated in a few sports and extracurricular activities. Entering her senior year of college, Kinleigh was thankful for her simple quiet life. She worked hard for everything she had and didn't take no for an answer. Senior year was going to be her year, so she thought. Being kidnapped by power hungry monsters was not on her to do list of senior year. Kinleighs' world is turned around as she encounters obstacles she could never dream about. Finding friends in unusual places and even love makes Kinleigh consider if it was all meant to be, if she can survive that is.

I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."
