Tokyo Ghoul: King
A story I wrote some time back on Deviantart, and which I have now brought to Wattpad for people to enjoy. A hefty three-year project with a total of ~350 Kilobytes of text. An Eto x Male!Ghoul!Reader story with a total of 20 chapters, with hand-picked BGM chosen by yours truly. This story provides an alternate setting and its own timeline. The basis of this story is; What if there was a third king besides the Washuu King and the One-Eyed King, and just how could this third king come around to exist? This is the story of a ghoul who would come to be known as the "Horned King". The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? Amulet was born as a runt. She was raised by her "father" and she bares a special mark on her right eye. Reaching adulthood she realizes that her eye is causing her a lot of problems. She finds out a bunch of things about her past that she really didn't want to believe. Now mated to a male she despises and trapped between her eye and her past, she searches for the answers to the questions buzzing around in her head. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. hey hey hey: read this before starting the book! you are a tourist who came to Egypt for tour. but while exploring the desert, your bus gets hijacked by some cult people. they bring you to hamunaptra. then a storm blows everyone off. you make some new friends on bus who are as equally as scared as you of the cult hijackers. to escape them you and the newfound friends run to a pyramid. then slowly your friends start dissapearing. they are being taken by somebody. some creature. sucking of their flesh off leaving their skeletons. it was because. (flashback), some people opened a tomb, finding no treasure but a mummy, you running away from those hijackers who are trying to kill everyone with their guns. you stumbled on the tomb and your blood from your palm which was cut by a sharp object somehow (recommend something please) and revived the mummy of the priest imhotep.... {thats the plot! now you read the story ahead}
