Roxanne Arrowood is a young, innocent woman looking to make a name for herself by uncovering secrets behind the legends and myths. She's always been drawn to things with a mystique nature and it often got her into trouble. However, she has had a rather bad run of luck. Every legend she went after turns out to just be an old story, nothing with any real power behind it. Every myth turned out to be just some story parents told their kids to scare them into behaving, which was then passed down through the generations with the story being twisted and changed every now and then. Down to her last few dollars and on the edge of giving up on her dream, a handwritten letter from one Henry Myerscough appears in her mailbox. When accepting the offer, Roxanne did not expect to be thrown into a world of lies, blood, and power.
