"Wala ka talagang kwentang bata ka!, palagi ka nalang palpak ang hirap ba ng pinapagawa ko sayong paglilinis dito sa bahay huh!" sigaw niya sa akin at winawaliwas ang aking braso. 

"Nay naglilinis naman po ako dito" utal utal kung sabi dahil sa hikbi ko.

"Aba marunong ka nang sumasagot bata ka huh, matapos kitang pag aralin, pakainin, yan lang ang ipapakita mo sa amin wala kang respeto! ngayon hindi ka kakain buong araw at makukulung ka bilang parusa!" at kinaladkad niya ako papunta sa bodiga at doon niya ako ikinulong na para bang priso na may sala.

"Nay wag po ang dilim po doon natatakot po ako" nanginginig kung sabi at nagpupumiglas sa mga kamay niya.

"Wala kang pakialam kung ano ang gagawin ko sayo, kung natatakot ka doon eh bahala ka na sa buhay mo!" at ipinasok na niya ako sa dilim na bodiga.

Madilim doon. Matatakot ka talaga dahil sa marami ding mga gamit doon at pulos alikabok. Wala ka talagang matutulugan kung hindi ka marunong maghanap ng matutulugan. Pero dahil madalas naman ako dito meron na akong matutulugan kaya doon ako nag mokmok at nakayukong umiiyak. Wala akong magawa kundi ang tiisin lahat ng sakit, gutom, lungkot at takot na rin.
