Hermione Granger decides to come back to finish her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry after the War. Voldemort has fallen, her friends and family are safe, and it's time to pick up the pieces. Harry refuses to talk about it and Ron is trying to heal with his family after the loss of his brother. She decides to go back to school to gain a sense of normalcy. To be part of the effort headed by the professors to rebuild Hogwarts, where she acts as Head Girl. Along with Neville and Luna, Hermione works to restore Hogwarts to its former glory. Little does she know that someone else has returned to Hogwarts as well. Someone from her past that she would rather forget.
Draco Malfoy comes back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry because it's his home. The place where he truly belonged, no matter how miserable his schooling experience had been. Dark and twisted by his parents and the Dark Lord's efforts, Draco returns with one wish: to make a difference.
