Meet Sophia Brewer. 27-year-old child, pre-teen, adolescent, and young adult therapist specializing in survivors of traumatic events. While pursuing her doctorate degree in clinical psychology, she met her two best friends, Roseline and Natalie, who are both studying in the same field and attending the same university where she graduated. Everyone describes her as a survivor, a hard worker, and a dedicated worker. She appears to be perfect, but the only problem is that she does not speak. Sophia suffers from selective mutism; no one, not even her brother Jason, heard her voice. Will her life be turned upside down when she meets William? a flirtatious voice actor whom she has admired since her brother introduced her to the voice acting industry.

"Being mute isn't a disability. It just means that God loves you so much that He took away your voice so that you don't hurt others verbally. You see, He doesn't want you to do what others are doing to you." ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ When Sierra Bloom suffers a tragedy that costs her both her family and her voice, she shuts down every bit of emotion and passion within her and brings out a new and cold her that doesn't like being around people and things that are easy to get attached to. Enter David Hale. Cheerful, bright, friendly -a shocking contrast to her cold, closed off personality. Not only does David do things she dislikes, he also does not know when to give up on her. What is Sierra supposed to do when he keeps bringing out the old her and makes her forget the tragedy she caused? The answer is obvious; shut him out and run away. That's the solution.... right? ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ This book was written in 2013, back when I was still pretty much a kid. It hasn't been edited and there are many issues I find with it. I may or may not edit//re-write, but if I do I don't think I'll post it here. At least, for now. In any case, the person I was then is not the person I am now lmaoo but I'm still proud of younger me for this cute little thing. I love all my lovely, LOVELY readers who have sent me such beautiful messages about this book ♥ Thank you for loving my book, it means the world to me. ⌔ - 2023 Update ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ Achievements: General Fiction: #81 Romance: #186 Kisses: #4 ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ All Rights Reserved. "I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for being so emotional all the time. I'm sorry for hurting myself the way i do. I'm sorry for pushing everyone away. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for making you hate me. I'm sorry for being here. I'm sorry for existing. I'm sorry for being the way i am. I'm sorry for being me." Amelia Cunningham. Epitome of Social Outcast. No friends. Just her trusty diary and occasional panic attacks. She is the perfect student, perfect daughter. She smiles like the sun shines down just for her, but nobody knows how broken she really is. Nobody sees the cracks and cuts beneath the beautiful facade she puts up. Nobody but Nikolai. And he might just be able to save her from herself. Because he believes that he's been given a second chance to save someone like her for a reason. And he would make sure he saves her no matter what.
