Hundreds of years ago, wolves and witches worked side by side. It was a beautiful alliance. Eventually, the four-legged beasts became power hungry and turned their back on their magical friends. They sought to eliminate the need for the witches by breeding their magic into their warrior wolves.

When Elizabeth, a powerful witch, is led to the Blue Moon pack by the Moon Goddess, she has to overcome her reservations about working with wolves. It does not help that she has the distraction of her mate and the Alpha, Derick Stone, breathing down her neck.  

As Elizabeth and Derick give in to their primal urges, both the wolves and witches step forward with the intention of doing everything in their power to put an end to the mating. 

Witches refuse to be ruled by wolves again and some wolves refuse to be led by a witch.
