Neither were raised by parents, like all in their island. All that live on the island of Majesta are magic. The girls are called Auras, a female with powers. And the boys are Blazes. There are no laws other then one. When a girl is ready, or 18 years of age, she must be pregnant, once the child is born, she moves to the island of Briar where the adults live and may be marries and have families and children.if anyone refuses to leave, they will be hunted down by reapers. Now she lives in the human world, going about her everyday life like an average person. She's left her previous life behind and that's just how she likes it. Unfortunately for her, you can't escape your past forever. No matter how much she protests, magic will always be a part of her life, hiding in the shadows, undetected but still there. All she wants to do is complete her final year of school without so many 'unusual' complications. As you're most likely aware, life never goes according to plan.
