Linden Deminski goes through half a year in the hell on earth before her life really takes a turn for the worse. It's not losing the life she once had- high school, friends, parties, college applications, her dreams- it's losing who she was and the people that live around her. Picking off characteristics one by one, will she be able to stay human or lose herself all together?

Allie Walsh was a peculiar child. Her head was always in the clouds at the worst of times, but she was loved by so many.
