This is a short story that I had written for a contest, I didn't win but I still wanted to share it. This story is a mix between fiction and nonfiction as the lines between reality and fantasy blur. This story is a bit more on the darker and mature side as it deals with heavier themes regarding real issues such as mental health, as well as emotional and psychological trauma. This story is completely my own and I kindly ask that readers are respectful and do not plagiarize my writing in any way, shape, or form without my consent. With all of that being said I hope you enjoy the story about my monster, the darkness.

A Big Book of Short Stories
A collection of my ideas. While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
