CLEXA HOLIDAY SPECIAL

Clarke Griffin is an established artist who owns a gallery in Polis, outside Washington, D.C. Lexa Woods is an attorney based in New York City. She and Clarke have been friends for years, since they met in college, and there have always been sparks, but for whatever reasons, the timing just wasn't right, though their friends have been shipping them practically forever and trying to get them together.

Finally, this Christmas, they've each decided it's time to tell the other how they really feel. So they both come up with rather elaborate plans to do just that, and it made it easier because Lexa will be in Polis. But, of course, when you've got secret plans and a bunch of well-meaning friends stirring the pot, things might get a little confusing.

Clarke Griffin, a young, kind-hearted and hard-working mother of two teenagers, couldn't be happier with her life. She loves her family, her job, her apartment- it's just romantic relationships that don't work for her, now that she has children, but that's fine with her. Lexa Woods has travelled the world, tried out different jobs, and is fairly happy with tutoring and living with her best friend now. She still struggles to open up entirely to people, but she's learning to. When Clarke hires Lexa as a tutor for her twins, she merely hopes that her children's academic performance improves. She doesn't even think as far as that the woman could become more than that, let alone become the person who proves her outdated views on being a single mom wrong. At the time Lexa drives to the Griffin's apartment for the first time, she doesn't think that a smile could be as warm as to burn through the chains left around her heart either. Sometimes even adults are wrong, though. // 9# clexa 28.05.23
