I thought I knew who I was. I was just the person who wondered around aimlessly and managed to attract evry piece of danger. I mean, who else can say they've attracted 4 covens of vampires and a werewolf pack with a year? Who else can say they gave birth to a child that was already a year old even though I've only just given birth to her three days ago? Who else can say, they've been duped into being someone's mate? Who else can say they've died for that mate only to realise they weren't your mate?

Alice can only account for one of those. She got duped to. Except, she saw it coming.

I didn't.

And that's just the beginning. I made many discoveries in those first few days as a newborn. All of which altered my reality in a million different ways. Only one was as shocked and horrified as me.
