Blaze White is the New Girl at the Prep school in her mothers old home town. But her only goal for senior year is to keep a low profile, no friends, no parties and NO boys. Axel may be adored and worshipped by his peer-but he hates people, except 5. So when a beautiful but closed off girl suddenly enters his group. He is not welcoming of the mysterious beauty despite the pull they both feel. •••• WARNING: This was written many moons ago. I have decided to put it back up because of a large request from readers. However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

I mumble in my head but I keep my composure. I spin around on one heel and face the devil . There standing not even two feet from me was Zane Hunter. Better known as alpha. Just perfect. I flash my teeth in the best fake smile I can muster. "Zane!! How nice to see you? Long time no see? You've been scarce." He glares at me. "You better watch your back Lyssa before you get into trouble." At my expression he smiles. Hard lines appear on his face as that sick smile spreads even further. "You know what this means don't you?" I sigh and shake my head. "It means that I'll just have to fight myself out of here." I grab my two automatic pistols already loaded and ready to fire. I point one straight at his chest and rest the tip of the other on my left temple. "If you're planning on killing me I'll just drag you down with me." ********* Two of the most feared and well known gangs in America have an old rivalry. The Wolverines vs the Wolves. I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I was laying flat on my back in the dirt with my glove with the ball inside pressed against his chest. Miles was not at all fat, but he was 6'2 compared to my barely 5'3. I could feel his chest rumbling and shaking with laughter as I lay humiliated on the ground. "I didn't know you liked being on the bottom," Miles said loudly. The whole field cracked up with that. I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me. "Pervert," I muttered, before tossing the ball out of my glove to hit him in the thigh. I stalked across the field without another word. The whole team was in hysterics as I shoved all my things in my bag and practically ran off to get away. ... Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

He's going straight for the barriers with full speed. I look away before I can see him crashing, again. I can't loose him. Not now, not ever. Quickly I have a look at the outcome. I walk out of the garage to Daniels driver room. I sit down in a cross-legged position on the small couch. I put my headphones in and put some music on to calm myself down. But I can feel the tears coming. I close my eyes, focusing on the music. Someone touches my knee. It's Dan. I stop the music and take my headphones out. He sits down next to me and lets his hand rest on my knee. "I'm sorry," he apologizes. With my eyes I scan his body. He looks okay, no scratches. "I'm fine, you?" I look away and shrug. The tears are coming back. "You promised me." A tear falls down on my hand. I know it's the consequence of is job. And I knew that since our first date. This is one of his worst crashes. But still when these things happen, I still shit my pants. Daniel softly grabs my face and makes me turn to him. "I know honey." "You can't do that to me, to us." I rest my hand on my stomach. He smiles. He gets closer to me. "I'll make it up you, okay?" I slowly nod. He presses his lips against mine. "I only want to see you smile," he says in some funny type of way, while wiping away my tears. I try to hold back my smile, but I fail. "See there it is." He quickly kisses me again before we stand up. "I love you," I say. "Love you both." He rests one hand on my small baby bump.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living.
