So here's the thing: I met this girl. I never expected to be this close to her. Eventually, she became my bestfriend. All I know is that when I'm around her, I have this funny feeling of having butterflies in my stomach and I'm very happy to be with her. I get excited when I see her or when I hear her name. It's hard to fall for someone you're not sure will catch you. Why is that? Why do we get our hopes up sometimes, thinking that the people we love can catch us, when we ourselves can't even catch ourselves when we fall because of the pain they give us? We're the ones who keep catching them when they get hurt, it's unfair because they can't even catch us when we're falling head over heels for them... But my perspective changed when I found out that she'd been catching me all along, I just didn't know.
