Mature
All of Freya's life, she's consistently pushed to be just like her sister Artemis: Athletic, competitive, and strive to have a successful life. However, there was just one thing that separated between the two.

She was aiming to have a seat in the Injustice Society table. It's what her parents always wanted for their family.

But in order to blend in and have a semi-normal life, she needs to attend school like any other teenager but could only focus about Project: New America, meaning that she couldn't be a complete normal teenager.

This also meant she couldn't befriend others due to the risks of exposing of what she was a part of. While Artemis hung out with her football teammates at lunch, she hung out at the small gym when it was empty.

Being in her sister's shadow in the majority of her life was a routine, but what happens when the new girl stumbles into her life and tries to convince her that it's her destiny to be a part of something more?

I mean, of course Freya is hesitant about lying behind their backs but if a certain Montez is on the team, maybe it wouldn't be so bad?

❝Do you realize how messed up we are, hiding our honest feelings just because we wanted to be stereotypically normal? It's bullshit. ❞ ***** Kirlia Hemmings is normal and she makes sure that she reminds herself of that fact, at least once every day. However, despite all her attempts, the entire universe makes her feel like an outcast for being brought up by a gay couple. Her dads are her life but since the arrival of puberty, the only thing she had ever acquired was a jar full of insecurities that made her vulnerable about her very awesome dads. Peter Hemmings and Noah Benedict, soon realise how their daughter was suffering because of their decision of being together and go against the societal norms. Infuriated and dejected, they collectively decide to go make her switch schools. Pride High School. A school was established for homosexuals and people who had been discriminated against based on their gender preferences. Kirlia, however, had a minute issue. She was straight and straights were despised in Pride High. Caught up in a mix of 'heterophobes', it's almost hard to dodge them without getting involved with 'The Scandalous Six', now seven, a gang of those who don't care about people more than baseless prejudices. Being scandalous and friendly, she gets a gang of weirdos who become her beam of sanity. But soon the fury of attraction and prejudices collide, making it almost impossible to run away from reality. How far would Kirlia go to get her piece of love? Or will she be restricted by the prevailing stereotypes? ***** ©sarcastic-mess/2022 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 :: June 2022 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 :: ???

Change. 1. (v) replace (something) with something else, especially something of the same kind that is newer or better; substitute one thing for (another). 2. (n) the act or instance of making or becoming different. Ever since the downfall of the Injustice Society and finally regaining her memories of what she endured throughout her life, Freya vowed to herself she would never be led to the dark ever again and promised to make sure neither of her friends do as well, despite the phone call she received on Christmas. Easy enough right? I mean, nobody from the Injustice Society survived...well, the JSA assumed nobody did. {STARGIRL 💫 FEM OC x Yolanda Montez} {Season 2}
