June 2010. Angelica's grandfather Aurelio Javellana died. Together with her parents, they unearth an unexpected story as they found an old wooden box in his house with some of his belongings including a lot of letters dated in the years 1942-1944.
His lolo Aurelio was not exactly the man that they thought he was. Beneath the smiles and laughter hides an unsurnmountable sacrifices and love so bizzarre that Aurora- Angelica's mom and Aurelio's only daughter, trembled in disbelief when they read some of the letters. The story focuses on Aurelio's past life.
