17 year old Vera Dawn is considered the strongest of vampires known to the Onyxian world: a wold known only to vampires. She's supposed to be highly intelligent, incredibly beautiful and powerful enough to kill on command. But for as long as she can remember she's never been those things and she's never able to control the powers that control her. She's always been a weakling. That is until she falls for Dylan, a suspected trespasser supposedly sent from the enemy world known as Velmeer. He is able to work her powers like she's never experienced. There's only one problem: Vampires are not allowed to fall in love with humans.
