"How could we have drifted so far from them? How could we have left them to their own devices? Left them alone...?" The answer to that question lies buried deep in the heritage of a young harpy named Eve. And only perseverance will grant it. But the sacrifice that comes with discovery is too great to mention. In a world once riddled with beings deemed mere myth, it now hangs on the edge of a knife. Humanity has never needed them more. Has Eve endangered every life on planet Earth? Or has she given them a chance, a chance to restart. To begin a new era where humanity can walk alongside their forgotten allies. In this modern fantasy novel the question of morality between human and harpy is challenged to the limit and there will be losses on both sides... Harpies, humans, werewolves and Angels, Eve will find herself faced with them all...

"Again, do you think that's... wise? The others should be able to control themselves, but Fallon..." Gideon let the words hang in the air. Fallon wasn't the most stable in the best of times and sometimes, he questioned his decision to bring him into their home. "I'll watch out for him." Sebastian stood. "Damn me, why did I have to save her." "Because you were bored." ********************************** Most children are raised to have a sense of wonder. A feeling of awe at the unexplainable, delight at the thought of hidden worlds and fantastical creatures. Eve was not that child. She was happy in her logical life and didn't need the unicorns and wizards. To her, magic simply didn't exist. Until the night it tried to kill her. After she is saved by men of fiction, Eve soon discovers that binding an eight-hundred year old vampire to herself is the least of her worries. An unexpected reunion with her mother exposes secrets and she quickly learns that what she didn't believe in could be the death of her. ******** Warning******** THIS IS A REVERSE-HAREM NOVEL. THERE WILL BE SEXY TIME INVOLVED. It's also 107K words but only 16 chapters long. This means hella long chapters. Sorry about that, it's just the way the story wanted to be written. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please comment and I will do my best to reply :) If there are questions that might lead to spoilers, I'll try to PM or DM the answers.
