Fay and Amanda have been dating for 3 years now. The finish line is within sight as Amanda proposes to Fay, a 25 year old Hispanic woman. During their time in a café planning the wedding, Fay notices people staring at them. Has it always been like this, or did the proposal change things? Is Fay gonna change her mind after 3 years of dating and 10 years of friendship?

This is a short story about a band-obsessed outcasted teen and the handsome barista of the new café. (Cliché, i know. But pfff) Gabe is around his two best and only friends almost all of the time. The people in school make fun of him because they don't think he's 'cool enough'. But Gabe ignores them as good as he can. When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes. The barista seems pretty interested but Gabe is too scared he will only make fun of him like the others. The life of the princess from Aphrodite Kingdom. A year has passed. They have been running around and have ended up 3,863 miles from home now. The princess was running fast through the pouring rain trying to get away from him. Her muscles ached but she continued. She looked back thinking she had lost him until she bumped into something. It was him. They stood there, just staring at each other. The princess could tell the prince was injured because he stumbled toward her. He dropped his sword, "wha- what are you doing *prince name*?" he gave a slight smirk but also winced in pain. "You win princess, you were always going to". She stood there trying to process the words that he just spoke and what had just happened. "You heard me princess, now's your chance to finally end it all." The princess got her dagger and aimed it at his heart, he stood there, accepting his fate. "I love you *princess name*, my princess" as he said those words... guess you'll have to read to find out 😉 (sorry if the chapters are short, I wrote them all in google docs so each part is one full page on google docs. She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey. Well, the endless supply of supernatural hotness in this story may beg to differ-but that's besides the point. Either way, it's gonna be a killer time ;) EXCERPT Chicken tacos it is. Right as Renata grabbed the ingredients, she turned to put them next to the stove, where a clean, plastic cutting board awaited. But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder. It held a thousand threats and a thousand secrets. It held promise of pain if provoked. "If you scream," he warned, mouth pulled in a slight snarl, "this ends quickly." She didn't dare nod against the blade. He noticed and amusement lit up for just a second in those devilish eyes. Oh, whoever the fuck this was, she already hated him.
