"Shh," I hissed as the footsteps got closer. I blamed the book for this mess. If I had never opened it and found that stupid letter I would have never gotten us in this situation. I also blamed Marco, he should have put his foot down and told me not to pursue it, but he just had to be a supportive loving husband. 

The closet door opened and Marco and I fell out onto the floor. It was like seeing a ghost when my eyes caught sight of the figure above us. "Santa?" I gasped.
