But, little does he know, an old rival of Dimitri and Clive has been making moves of his own in order to silence people who threaten his rule and also wants to target the Professor and gang. Can Layton and Co. stop this evil madman from perfecting his rule? Can they stop him from silencing and threatening to kill people? And can Layton trust his friends to not betray him against this person? Or will they stab him in the back and let Layton, Luke and Flora become prisoners to the man?
