The war is over. A country is rebuilding. A love that overcame many hurdles may get to finally see the light of day. Follow Cal and Mare as they make their journey following the Gala in Montfort. A continuation of Broken Throne, I felt as though the ending left a lot to the imagination. Feel free to share feedback good and bad. *Mature Content*

* Set after Red Queen's second book, Glass Sword "Words will kill us all, eventually." Mare Barrow has been out of King Maven's hands for a little over a year. Yet when she hears rumours spreading, she finds that she is unsettled and anxious about the young King. The Lightning Girl also has several unanswered questions, and she knows the King of Norta has the answers. After planning how to get into the palace, Mare isn't so sure how the man that she had run away from will react to her sudden appearance. Find out what happens in this AU Fanfiction for Red Queen. This story is inspired by the events that take place in Jane Eyre. All characters except a couple are Victoria Aveyard's. I am just using them for my fanfiction. Please note that there will be spoilers if you haven't read Red Queen or Glass Sword yet, but it will be spoiler free for King's Cage. All of the images in the banners belong to their respective artists. Thank you to @RedAsBlood77 for making the gorgeous cover for this Fanfiction!
