Space & High school students

Summary: One high school class, four kids zapped away and taken right under the teacher nose when learning about a math problem. Trapped on a space ship with aliens that want to eat them. They must trust one another, working together if they want to get back to Earth. Why does it seem like the quiet kid actually knows how to deal with this situation?
