Won Luna also known as Won Karina to her American family and friends, arrived at Seoul, her father's hometown. After going through a heartbreak, she left the States to learn about her fathers side of culture but not only that, she had a sudden urge or 'a pull' she like to say that wanted her to come to Seoul and start her new life.
She only has her best friends sister, Lee Cheol-Sun, who she grew up with, in this new place. Sun Unnie is a makeup artist and she helped Luna get an intern job as another makeup artist in a company called BigHit Entertainment. She found out in her interview with the director of the company that she will be working for the famous idol group BTS.
