"Please stop me...I don't want to hurt you," I breathe out, our breaths mingling, I tried to hold back my desires before I lose my sanity at the intense pleasure her touch made me feel.

"Don't stop. I want you," her voice was hardly audible or our breathing was too loud. She passed her hand around my neck, playing with my back hairs, my fingers sneaked his way to the only piece of cloth separating us.

"March, I love you. That will never change even after you shift. You will be the girl who made me feel at home. I will protect you with my life."

"I love you too, Jack. I want to protect you, please never hate me," she murmured before I could comprehend her words, she pulls me by my neck in a rough kiss, her lips pushing on mine, craving for more greedily.

A year. A whole year since she last saw him. The memory of their last conversation, sharp and stinging, still resonated in her mind. They had been raw, exhausted, and ultimately, convinced they were hurting each other more than helping. The hunt for Hannah had dominated their lives, a relentless pursuit fueled by adrenaline and a desperate hope that had eventually fractured under the weight of reality. Then, there he was. Jake. His eyes, the same captivating brown that used to hold her captive, were now settling on her. A flicker of surprise, then... something else. Something that mirrored the ache in her own heart. The idea of a second chance, of rebuilding something with Jake, was terrifying and exhilarating all at once. But looking into his eyes, Madisyn saw a sincerity, a depth of understanding that she hadn't seen a year ago. They had both grown, both learned. Maybe, just maybe, they could make it work. Their love story wasn't conventional. It wasn't built on casual coffee dates and lighthearted laughter. It was forged in the crucible of loss and desperation, strengthened by shared trauma and a deep, unwavering connection. However, the challenges were far from over. "Goddess, you're so perfect." he breathed the words, staring up at her as she moved rhythmically up and down above him, her breasts bouncing as he gripped her hips, trying to hold back the wave that he felt building inside of him. She just looked and felt so fucking good. "Do female wolves mark their mates?" She leaned forward as she asked the question in a low voice, sliding her arms along his chest as she shifted her position, moving her legs close together so that he was even tighter inside of her as his hands came down to grip her ass, thrusting into her from below. "Yes." he was barely able to gasp out the word. "Not in my pack. But in many- most even- other packs." "Why not yours?" He felt her mouth slip forward, her tongue teasing the same place he had marked on her body half an hour earlier. "The men in our pack just haven't allowed it. It's a sign of claiming and-" her teeth grazed the spot lightly, not hard enough to break the skin, but he felt a mixture of pleasure and pain shoot through his body and he drew in a sharp breath, his head tilting back automatically as he offered her better access to the spot. "It shows that you belong to your mate. Doesn't it? Like I belong to you?" "Yes." He murmured, gripping her more tightly, so close to the edge he knew he'd lose control at any moment. He only hoped he could bring her to the peak of pleasure again first. He'd thought she was close. "Nova." He knew his voice sounded desperate. "Can I mark you, Alpha?" ---------------------------------- When Nova stumbles into pack lands and is captured by the Blazing Moon pack she knows that she has to escape. She makes a daring escape only to be tracked down by their Alpha. But their meeting isn't at all what either or them expected. Can he convince her to stay? I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
