The dreamer
So many deaths are happening. Some as a result of overwhelming heat waves, floods and raging storms, contaminated air, drought and famines, health risks, rising sea levels causing displacements and conflicts. In fact the list is endless. Most of lands and cities along coastline have already been submerged into the expanding seas and oceans endangering high number of communities. Also many species are getting extinct as the conditions worsen.
The Silent Depths
In a world submerged beneath endless oceans, humanity has adapted to survive. Cities of glass and steel hover above the water, while others thrive deep beneath the waves. Evolution gifted humans extraordinary powers to navigate this new reality: some command water, others harness bioluminescent energy, and a rare few possess abilities tied to the senses. Fifteen-year-old Kai is an orphan who lives in the sunken slums of Aquarion, scraping by on odd jobs and scavenging in the ruins of the old world. His unique power is both a gift and a curse-his hearing is so sharp he can detect whispers from miles away, even hear the faint hum of ocean currents. But Kai has a secret: he cannot speak.
