I as a fan myself assume that you, dear reader, have heard of the wonderful creation that is My Little Pony. And I also assume that you know of Equestria, the magical world where Twilight Sparkle and her friends keep peace and harmony. But now, please imagine and alternate world, quite like Equestria, but also completely different. Where there is blood and darkness and where creatures of your nightmares dwell to reek destruction on the innocent. This, my loyal pony loving friends, is El Turnia.
When Princess Gloria loses her parents in series of tragic events, she becomes queen of her home: El Turnia. She faces evil, deals with ruling a kingdom, and the fear that she could lose everything. This slightly overprotective and short tempered royal has a story you are about to hear.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I began writing this story over a year ago when I was still developing my writing 'skills' so it gets better! Promise! Also I'm super bad at location names, but El Turnia is not supposed to be Spanish! I do not mean in any way to disrespect any culture, love y'all!

Meet Gold Shield, a Unicorn colt who lost his parents, and was abandoned by his other family members. He was your average colt, nothing special, but he had a knack for spotting trouble. That's what caused him to save a young Twilight Sparkle as she was studying for a test. Yet, he didn't stop there. He went on to CONTINUE helping her by studying with her until she got every spell down, even going as far as to show her a concentration technique. However, what if he were to notice a pattern in the attacks, and even thwart one during Twilight's test? What if it lead to him discovering his special talent?

During a 3-day vacation at a log cabin, in the mountains, 7 college students and a kid from Earth are accidentally sent to Equestria. Now, they must make friends with the ponies and adjust to life in Equestria until they can find a way to return home. But along the way, truths will be told, secrets will be revealed and discoveries will be made! One thing is for sure and that is that big things are coming to Earth and Equestria!
