Twin Rivers

Hopper Monteazul was born on the same year as that of the daughters of three of the most prominent families in Twin Rivers: Dawn Clarisse del Mar, Kathryn Jameson and Lovely Villareal. Being children of landed families and forefront in the growing banana industry, these children grew up together in an environment of security and abundance. In the background was the history of Davao City, covering the peaceful years of the 60’s, the turmoil of the 70’s and 80’s, and the progressive years of the 90’s and onwards. Destined to share the complexity of life, they would be caught in a mesh of love and hate, competition and achievement, disappointment and redemption. From Christmas party to field trip, debate, Tae Kwon Do, graduation ball and to the more serious world of career and business, marriage and child-rearing, the future dramatically unveiled for the scions of Twin Rivers.
