Ash failed to save the world alongside Goh and even lost his existence in the process... OR SO HE THOUGHT! Yuki is afraid of what Pokémon are capable of. From being able to cause fires just by breathing or cause someone to become poisoned just by being touched... that isn't something she's used to. That, alongside her own difficult life challenges she faced just adds on to her fears.

Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. Alola to a New Journey!
Basically, a typical betrayal story...without a betrayal, so to speak. Basically, Ash's pals think it is time to try something new. His Kalos league run got everyone so excited, only for Ash to lose. They started to wonder if a Master is the right way for him to go. Disappointed that his friends lost their faith, Ash sets of to Alola, hoping to clear his mind. When a brand new League is announced to be opened, Ash takes a chance on this opportunity to finally become a Champion, putting him one step closer to Master. This is going to be separate from canon, with some similarities. This is not going to have Ash catching a bunch of Legendarys, or using the whole ''Aura" thing, It's just good old Ash, on a good old adventure. I will include Meloetta, since it's my personal favorite Mythical Pokemon, and Ash will catch Poipole / Naganadel. I dont think I will include Melmetal in Ash's team, for a reason you'll see further in. But Meloetta wont be caught, it's kind of just along for the ride. :) Team Rocket, our loveable trio of dorks, is still a loveable trio of dorks, they just, aren't part of Rocket anymore. They are now members of Team Cook. Yep, they're cooks now. And maybe also a guest appearance from a fan favorite Ninja Amphibian? Anyways, this is my first story with a main ship, too: Aureliashipping.(Ash x Lillie) It wont be the main focus, but I will include a few moments to hopefully please the crowd. That's about it.
