Victoria Abelard, better known as Vick, was a famous vampire hunter in the early nineteenth century. After a botched job, she was turned into the one thing she hated most. A vampire. Two hundred years later, Vick has learned how to blend in with the human crowd. Her life couldn't be anymore perfect, especially with the disappearance of vampires for over fifty years (which hunters gladly help keep in place). However, her life is turned upside down when two old friends pop back into it. Them requesting her to assassinate the king of the vampires. Just when she thought she was free, Vick is thrown back onto the roller coaster of life.
