Heart Strings

My parents always told me that I might as well be the reincarnation of Cupid. "A blessing from the Aphrodite" I've heard a few classmates call me. My entire school knows me as the match maker. What people don't know is, the reason why and how I can make such good matches. It's simple really, all it is is just a red string. Apparently, other people can't see it, only I can. Something I've learned about this string, it pairs two people together and these two people are deemed as "soulmates". My job, is to make sure the pair gets together. My favorite thing about the whole soulmate thing, is that once the pair gets together, they find it impossible to even think about breaking up. Last year, I helped two seniors get together. And guess what- they're getting married this year and I was invited!

The one thing that sucks about the strings though, I don't have one.. at least, I thought I didn't.. until I met him. The one boy that could play my heart strings like a guitar.
