This is a wolf story.
I Hunter am Alpha of the Crystal Moon pack. I'm a girl but before you start judging and saying a 'girl can't lead a pack' well here's the story. I was 5 and both my parents were murdered. My Uncle was heir to be Alpha. By 13 I proved myself worthy of being Alpha by taking revenge and killing the people who killed my parents. From then on I was Alpha. Sadly a couple years later my Uncle disappeared and I was devastated but I lived through it.

I was getting ready to start my senior year of high school when my dad was offered a promotion in an ally pack. He was our alpha's younger brother. (In other words my uncle is the Alpha.) My dad did accounting and record keeping for our pack as a delta. One of our ally packs contacted him to be a beta in charge of pack records and accounting. His record keeper and his mate were wanting to retire. His mate was an OB/GYN nurse. My mom was the midwife assistant. She could become the pack midwife. This would mean we would have to move. I was going to be a father soon, or at least that was what Kira was telling me. Somehow, the joy that I knew I should've felt wasn't there and I wondered briefly if there was something wrong with me.
