Halloween is a much anticipated event in Melashire, Kalea Keats's suburban town . . . maybe a little overblown.
Mock rituals made on All Hallow's Eve opens a portal from a demonic realm, demons that see all humans as gallows;deserving to be killed. They take on human form and inhabit abandoned houses waiting to lure Halloween-happy people in . . . but not all of them.
Things start to go wrong for Kalea and her trick-or-treating friends on Halloween when, after people start to go missing, a seemingly normal kid invites them into his parent's old mansion.
Will they escape with their lives or fall victims of the diabolical demons? And will they be able to send the demons back to their realm and seal the portal shut forever?
