I tilt awake clutching my head. Tall bookshelves surround me filled with old books, ancient manuscripts, future prophesies, singed murder cases, anything written and stored away. I would know, I've read them all. Light filters down from a glass skylight high above providing a little natural light but once the sun sets I'll be descended into pitch black. Cobwebs line the shelves and spiders are my only company. I look down and see as expected that I'm standing like I always am in a thin white hospital gown, wires connected to my head and shackles on my ankles - a precaution, because anyone sane would know that the number of magical barriers currently surrounding me could keep even the mightiest of dragons trapped. I'm on a marble plank less than a metre wide that hangs over a never ending cavern of bookshelves that descend into the darkness far below. There is no way out, not back the way I came, not up and most certainly not down. This is my cage.

"Read." I flinch at the voice in my head.

And he is my keeper.

Attention, potential readers of my book! Brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of emotions, because in "My Missing Piece (Harmione)," you'll find more drama than a quidditch match with broomstick malfunctions. We're talking self-harm, torture, and enough blood to make a vampire blush. If you're as sensitive as a blast-ended skrewt, consider steering clear. But for the brave souls out there, here's a sneak peek: This tale kicks off just a month after the Hogwarts showdown, and Harry's got it bad for Hermione. Ever since the Yule Ball, he's been head over heels for the brightest, smartest, funniest, and most drop-dead gorgeous witch he's ever laid eyes on. But will Hermione reciprocate his feelings, or will their friendship go up in flames faster than a Weasley's fireworks display? Dive into this fanfiction and discover the answer, if you dare! ⚡? ***** "Harry?" Hermione called out. Harry's heart plummeted like a bludger to the gut. If she asked the one question he'd been praying she wouldn't, he might as well take a one-way trip to Azkaban for awkwardness. Their friendship, he feared, would be more shattered than a crystal ball dropped from the Astronomy Tower. Harry clung to the hope that she'd ask about anything else, but it seemed fate had a twisted sense of humor. Slowly, he turned to face those enchanting chocolate brown eyes he could never get enough of. She spoke the words he'd been trying to dodge like a rogue bludger. "Why didn't you spill the beans about being head over heels for me, Harry?" Hermione inquired, leaving him in a pit of utter despair. And so, the tale of Harry's romantic blunders began, filled with more twists and turns than a Niffler's chase for shiny objects. ?

As the new school year began at Hogwarts, the platform at King's Cross buzzed with energy. Students eagerly pushed their trolleys through the barrier to reach Platform 9 ¾, their excited chatter filling the air with anticipation of what the year ahead would hold. Onboard the Hogwarts Express, conversations swirled about the mysteries and adventures awaiting them at the castle. Among the eager students was Y/N, who, in her third year, would encounter Harry Potter-the boy everyone whispered about, the one they called the Chosen One. Little did Y/N know that her life was about to change. Danger, excitement, and heartbreak loomed as she was drawn into Harry's world-a world she once thought had no bearing on her own. Fate had other plans, entwining their destinies in ways neither could foresee. Amid the chaos, something gentle began to bloom between them, lingering in glances and laughter. And then, one evening, when words failed... "Y/N..." Harry whispered, his voice tinged with awe and something else-something hungry. His eyes flickered from hers to her lips, his face flushed but resolute. "Can I-can we do that again?" Y/N's cheeks burned, her hands resting lightly against his chest. "Someone might see us." "I don't care," Harry breathed, his voice trembling with honesty. "I don't care if the whole castle sees us. I've waited so long for this-for you..." -------- This story contains... - Disclaimer-> Smut or Lemon? Voldemort's forces have learned a terrible truth. When Harry, Ron, and Hermione are together their combined magical signatures burn like a beacon. Staying united no longer offers strength. It paints a target on their backs. So the Golden Trio must separate if they hope to survive long enough to destroy the Horcruxes. While Harry and Ron search for the scattered Horcruxes independently, Hermione finds herself alone on the outskirts of a forgotten village in rural Britain burying herself in research in the desperate hope of uncovering where the next one might be waiting. But even isolation cannot keep the war at bay. One late evening, she stumbles upon a body. One that is crumpled, pale, and bleeding into the leaves. Draco Malfoy. The boy who chose darkness. The boy she hates. As Hermione drags him into shelter, questions coil like smoke. How did he end up here? Why is he alone? And more dangerously... Why does she care if he dies or not? With Death Eaters hunting them both and the boundaries between enemy and exile blurring, Hermione must decide which will destroy her first: The war tearing their world apart... or the unexpected allegiance beginning to take shape in the quiet of the woods. ·:*¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨*:·
