A Longing Haven

This is a novel in the making. I will add chapters as I write. The reason for this is to acquire readers' perspectives on my writing. Thank you for taking the time to read and be a part of my dream.

Synopsis
"A Longing Haven" begins in a dark room where two strangers make an instant connection. As the story goes on, the reader finds out that she, Chevelle Carter who also goes by Kat, is an exotic dancer and he, Ian Stone, is the CEO of his own advertising company. Stone gives to charity and it is through one of these events that the two characters meet again, twice. It comes across that these two knew each other when they were young orphans at an orphanage called Butterfly Haven Children's Home, though this connection is only known by Chevelle. Their connection is instant, electric, and all-consuming. The story is complicated, however, by Stone's girlfriend Alexa, who he is only with because they grew custom to their arrangement. After meeting Chevelle he is considering leaving his girlfriend. Chevelle is scared by her feelings and keeps running away, while Stone is determined by them, he plans on pursuing Chevelle and to find out more about her. Stone offers Chevelle a proposal after conspiring with her night manager without her knowledge. This proposal could change Chevelle's life. Will they find common ground to share both their secrets kept or will they keep playing games.
