Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. Years later when Luz was finally out, she couldn't bear to look at her mother. She grabbed her things while she was at work, and ran back to the portal, leaving her mother for possibly forever.
