It was 1944, war struck throughout the world, but inside Lawrence, Kansas it was the very least of their worries. A serial killer was on the loose who went by the name of "The Demon." There have been rumors about him going around for years. Some people would say he had black eyes that matched the color of his soul. Others have said he's a poltergeist, a homicidal maniac seeking revenge. The truth was no one has ever really seen him and lived. A detective named Dean Winchester has been assigned this case for several years now. Dean had been hiding a secret all of these years. No one knew who he truly was. But most of all, no one could change his wicked ways, not his brother's loving affection, or even the one person in the entire world who could fall in love with a monster like The Demon.

With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of.
