To Logan Hunter, I have always been a naïve, little girl with dewy eyes and vapid dreams, just another sloppy geek, unsung behind all the pretty faces he is used to wallowing in.

I was a white dwarf in a stellar space filled with explosive supernovas.
I shone for him, and he beamed for everyone but me.
I was nothing to him, while he was everything to me.

Having him has always been my supreme holy grail, but the moment he starts to see me hauling my light from under the bushel, I am forced to stay away.

I have spent years daydreaming about an elusive, unobtainable guy, while all he did was steal my glimmer.
Now it is my turn to watch as he fritters his away.
