The recently throned King of Ahnhelm has been known as a powerful, and intelligent ruler, however his methods and actions are often cold and many times seen as brutal. Many kingdoms live in terror of this powerful king, and those brave enough to question his sanity are often executed or found dead in mysterious circumstances. The straw that breaks the camel's back or in this case, the king's sanity and judgement, is the assassination of his wife, the queen, by a magic user. This king is now out for the genocide of all magics users, and the razing of any village or person who supports, harbors, or aids a magics user. Laspice is one such village, and as it rises in stance and ability due to a few young, brave souls, it becomes a blazing and tempting target for the King's wrath.
