"Be my mate, Chuuya." "Hah?!" Chuuya nearly fell off the branch he was sitting on. He turned to his lanky companion who was standing on another branch, dark eyes gazing up at the full moon. "Where the hell did that come from?!" "I think we make a pretty good team." The raven-haired male turned those blackened eyes to the redhead and smiled cheekily, showing off his pointed fangs. "A werebeast and a vampire, what could be more perfect than this?" Chuuya slowly opened his eyes at the short but pleasant dream. He glared up at the man standing over him, icy blue eyes clashed with scarlet red. Too bad reality wasn't so pleasant at the moment. "You have no idea how much I've longed to see you again, Chuuya." The scarlet eyed man chuckled as he slowly stroke his pale hand over Chuuya's cheek. Warning: This story contains torture and blood. If you are uncomfortable with these things, please do turn away! Despite the warning...this is a happy story! This story is a completed one shot. However, as I am writing a prequel, I will keep the status as incomplete until I update the next chapter which will be the prequel to the first!

"I could kill you right here, right now." Chuuya said softly, with his knife down he hovered over Dazai. The taller man stayed silent as his eyes roamed Chuuya's face. "I could slit your throat open and make you regret what you've done to me." Chuuya pushed the knife to his throat, a little more pressure and he saw blood. Red soon soaked through the bandages, a small cut, a glimpse of dark liquid. ◇♤◇ Dazai and Chuuya were a pair, strong, argumentative, and forced. Ever since they were Fifteen, they were a pair. Until Dazai left and changed everything. In his wake he left a trail of fire and confusion, and all Chuuya could do was burn. BOOK #1 in The Fire series TRIGGER WARNING IN SOME CHAPTERS He leans closer, keeping me pinned against the wall with his hands on either side of my head. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. I wasn't scared of him. I didn't hide my face or get nervous... I just bit my lip harder, trying to hold it in. It would just make things worse for me, I bet. He kept his eyes on mine as I glanced at his friend behind him with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. I looked back at the man in front of me. "You shouldn't act that way around me." He says coldly. "I can have you dead right-" I couldn't hold it in. I started laughing. He leans back, shocked, but his face goes into a glare as soon as his friend behind him perks up, watching, interested now. I calm down a little. "I'm sorry." I say, catching my breath. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.

"Welcome to the Amazing Port Mafia!" ... First, sleep is never required. Then, food is never required. Ultimately, no amount of intense injury can kill you. He didn't know if Dazai was serious or just kidding. But realization hit him of how serious he was when he asked Chuuya again. Dazai grabbed Chuuya by the waist gently and pulled him closer to him. "Run away with me? Let's leave here tonight. We can run and we don't have to ever look back. We can start fresh. Wouldn't you like that? No running from the law, no missions, no corruption, no being put in the line of fire. Just us... just me and you."

The ginger teased, a smile creeping slightly onto his face. - Chuuya, a well rounded individual who works multiple jobs to keep a living, meets a troubled brunette, Dazai. A man who no matter where he goes, somehow will find a way to pop up and cause him some trouble. Dazai can't help but drag the ginger into his life. (Or perhaps push his way into chuuya's.) Causing Chuuya to test how long it will take for him to have enough of Dazai and his trouble filled life. Though despite what he says, he secretly loves the trouble Dazai brings. The trouble that makes him feel human. And seeing Chuuya feel and act human, and seeing someone finally accept him, for him, sparks the feeling of being human in Dazai as well, a feeling he never knew was possible for his broken body. - All characters belong to their rightful owners!-
