"I didn't know what had happened to me, but ever since the night before, I hadn't been able to stop thinking about her. The thought of our hands touching while we were pretending to be interested in the movie, or the weird, quick gazes we had thrown each other, kept me up all night, leaving me fully awake in my bed, trying to stop thinking about her." Christen has just joined the USWNT and is having a hard time fitting in; Tobin, on the other hand, has a hard time going out and socializing more with people. They find themselves attracted to one another, but for them it's also the first time falling for a woman: this will put a lot of obstacles on their way, which they can only overcome by trusting each other and believing in their love. Inspired by my one shot of the same name, this short story features Tobin Heath and Christen Press. Staying with her family while recovering from a season ending injury, Tobin meets Ms. Press, her niece Sarah's teacher and sparks begin to fly.

Story in Tobin Heath's point of view. When I look back when we first met I wouldn't have thought that we would end up here. We obviously had our differences. These differences kept us apart for a really long time. Actually, that's not true many things, kept us from being together, but they were all my fault. She was perfect and I was far from it. She always wanted to go back home and I didn't even have a home. My team once said that I had one of the best smiles, but what most people on the team didn't know was that that smile was covering up how I really feel. The decisions I make now aren't just about me anymore. I see her sitting there a crossed from me in this hospital room and I know it's my fault.

Christen is the new varsity soccer coach at Pinewood High School after moving from Sweden because of a scandal. Looking for a fresh start, she changes her student- athletes' lives for the better and for the worst. Tobin is a major player on the soccer team. An easy going person, and fun to be around. You can call her a jock, miss popular, workout junkie, smart student, etc. Being on the field makes her find her happy place. Soccer is all she does in her free time, and that's all she thought what made her her, until she meets the new coach.

Christen Press has had a rough couple of years and it has definitely taken a toll on her. When she arrives at her 5th school in two years, she is determined to not get attached. She is tired of hurting people when she leaves and she is tired of leaving the people she cares about. But what happens when after joining the soccer team, she finds herself closer to people than she has maybe ever have been. Especially one girl, a very enticing, but definitely mysterious girl, who may possibly be the worse person to fall for. Can she trust the girl she thought she knows and has started to seriously fall for, or does she trust her new family? The story starts a little slow and pretty basic, but if you stick with it I promise its different than what you have read before.
