This story is set in 1976 and follows James Potter's (Harry Potter's dad) sister, Evangeline Potter. 

It is set in Evangeline's 4th year, meaning James, Lupin, Sirius and Peter are in 5th year. 
James is only one year older than Evangeline. 

She was bullied in 1st year after being sorted into Gryffindor and transferred to Beauxbatons for her 2nd and 3rd year where she stayed both summers.

This year her parents decided it was time to bring her home and to send her to Hogwarts. 
Sirius and the other Marauders have not seen her for 2 years and since then she has grown, developed and changed. 

She has to get sorted once again and is nervous for her first year back.
All she wants to do is survive this year and have no regrets. 
But her childhood crush on Sirius is back, more so now that he has gotten even more handsome. 

But secrets are lurking, waiting to be revealed and James and Evangeline are not seeing eye to eye as much as they used to. 

People say she's different, but she's determined to prove them wrong. But the more she does, the more of herself she loses.
